Jersey and Guernsey's Under-19 sides will both open their qualifying campaigns for the 2012 Under-19 World Cup this week in Northern Ireland.

Both teams are preparing to play qualifiers against Denmark, Netherlands A, Scotland and Ireland.

Jersey's youngsters will start against Denmark, whilst Guernsey come up against Netherlands A.

Guernsey's second game is against Ireland, while Jersey line up against the Netherlands in their second match.

All of the teams will play each other once in a round robin tournament.

The top two teams at the end of the Northern Ireland event will progress through to the global ICC Under-19 World Cup qualifiers next year.
