Jersey finished top of the table, two points ahead of Ireland A

Jersey made it five wins out of five with an easy 116-run win against Italy at the FB Fields.

The island side were all out for 231 in the final over and then dismissed Italy for just 115.

Ryan Driver was made man of the match for the second game running after scoring 53 and then taking three early Italian wickets.

The win gave Jersey a clean sweep in European Division One with all five victories coming in convincing style.

The highlight of Jersey's innings was a 131 partnership between Dean Morrison (77) and Driver for the second wicket.

Once again Jersey's bowling was tight and economical with young spinner Ben Stevens taking 2-11 from his 10 overs, including five maidens.

Jersey skipper Peter Gough told BBC Jersey: "Whenever we've been under pressure, we've managed to soak the pressure up whether batting or bowling - and we've stayed patient and eventually we've come through - it's patience at this level and it's been awesome."
