Jersey got off to a fantastic start in the ICC European Division One tournament, beating Denmark by five wickets at Grainville. Denmark won the toss and batted first, making 164-7 in their 50 overs, as former skipper Freddie Klokker top scored with an unbeaten 68. In reply, Jersey eased to their target with nine overs to spare. An 83-run third-wicket partnership between Dean Morrison [55] and Ed Farley [39] helped see Jersey home.
