Jersey beat Ireland A for the first time on Wednesday

Jersey followed on from Tuesday's win over Denmark to beat Ireland A by seven wickets at Les Quennevais in the ICC European Division One.

Jersey dismissed the Irish for just 128 in 45.2 overs, with three wickets apiece for Ben Stevens and Chris Jones.

Jersey opener Dean Morrison then hit a classy 55 to see the hosts home for the loss of three wickets in 31.5 overs.

The win puts Jersey top of Division One alongside Scotland A, both teams having won their opening two games.

In Wednesday's other games, the Netherlands A beat Italy by three wickets at Grainville, while Scotland A beat Denmark by five wickets.

Jersey will return to action on Friday, when they take on Netherlands A.
