Walker is driving for Liverpool FC in the Superleague |
Jersey racing driver James Walker had a tough weekend on the track in Round Six of the Superleague Formula Series. Walker started well at Belgium's Zolder racetrack, coming home sixth after a solid performance in race one. The Jersey driver was unable to build on that finish and had to retire in the second race, owing to problems with his Liverpool FC Car. The result means Walker drops out of the top 10 in the drivers standings for the the first time, and is now 11th. The Liverpool FC team will now have two weeks to regroup before the next round of races at the Brands Hatch on 31 July.
