Teenager Craig Overton was the star for Devon on day one of their Minor Counties game against Wales. The 16-year-old all-rounder scored 68 on debut as Devon raced to 356-7, with Josh Bess (72) and Bobby Dawson (63) also making telling contributions. With Wales left 23 overs to bat before the close, Overton struck with the ball, taking 2-14 as the home side ended the day 294 runs behind on 62-4. Devon's two other wickets were taken by Trevor Anning.
