Callington have taken an early lead in the Cornwall Premier League with their third consecutive win.

Their latest triumph came at home to Werrington on Monday, who were bowled out for 172 chasing the hosts' 213-8.

Both Paul and St Just are also unbeaten in their opening three games, but Callington are top of the league having picked up more bonus points.

Paul beat Penzance by eight wickets on Monday, while St Just were winners over St Austell by nine wickets.

The league table sees Callington on top with 60 points, while Paul are on 58 points with the reigning champions St Just on 57.

Monday's other games saw Truro draw with Grampound road, while Falmouth also drew with Newquay.
