 Fox won three gold medals at the 2009 European Championships |
Cornish swimmers Jonathan Fox and Matt Whorwood will be in action at the Paralympic World Cup event in Manchester on Sunday. Fox won two gold medals and a bronze at the British Championships in April, whilst also setting a new world record in the S7 100m backstroke. Whorwood won bronze at the 2009 Paralympic world cup in the men's SM6 200m individual medley. The duo train together with Newquay Cormorants Swimming Club. The swimming events at the Paralaympics World Cup are being held at the Manchester Aquatics Centre on Sunday and Monday.
