Northampton Saints stretched their lead in the Northants League to 13 points following a four-wicket victory over defending champions Finedon Dolben. Finedon's 192 all out was not enough as Saints reached their target with eight balls to spare at Birchfield Road. Elsewhere Peterborough maintained their strong start with an eight-wicket win over struggling Rushden. And Old Northamptonians climbed to third place after crushing Burton Latimer by 126 runs. Brixworth, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, made it three wins on the trot as they overcame Wellingborough by three wickets, and Rushton saw off the Northamptonshire Academy by seven wickets. In Saturday's other Premier Division match, Stony Stratford's last pair held on to force a draw against Wollaston.
