Former Northamptonshire all-rounder Steven Crook helped Brixworth to a handy win on an otherwise rain-hit Saturday in the Northants League. Crook, who was released by the county at the end of last season, claimed 3-31 and hit an unbeaten 42 as Burton Latimer were beaten by ten wickets. Northampton Saints managed a winning draw against Wellingborough Town to stretch their lead to 16 points. But not a ball was bowled in any of the remaining four Premier Division games.
