Northampton Saints maintained their strong start to the Northants League season with a crushing eight-wicket win over Stony Stratford. Pace bowler Mark Wolstenholme claimed 4-26 as Stony were dismissed for just 121 and Saints passed that total with just two wickets down. Peterborough trail Saints by 11 points after beating bottom-of-the-table Burton Latimer by 116 runs. And defending champions Finedon were seven-wicket winners over Rushton. Brixworth made it back-to-back victories with a 107-run success at Rushden, Old Northamptonians saw off the Northants Academy by five wickets and Wellingborough's last pair held on for a draw against Wollaston. Meanwhile, Horton House - captained by former Nottinghamshire seamer Andy Oram - claimed victory over Isham to stay top of Division One.
