The Isle of Man Under-15s cricket side beat France by 66 runs in their second ICC European Division Two match in Italy on Monday. The Manx side batted first and built an impressive innings of 211-8 from their 35 overs, Rowan Bird made 44 while Shaun Kelly hit 66. The French were all out for 145 in reply with was the pick of the Manx bowlers, ending on 4-28. The result sees the Manx side move level on points with Italy and France. Italy have the opportunity to top the group again when they face Gibraltar on Monday afternoon. The Isle of Man were close to providing a massive shock in the first round when they narrowly lost by 40 runs to the tournament favourites. The Isle of Man can take a lot of confidence from the result however, as in the current ICC rankings Italy are placed two divisions higher. The Manx side will now face Gibraltar in Bologna Tuesday.
