This will be the first time Guernsey host a world level tournament

The fixtures for the Division Seven tournament of the World Cricket League held in Guernsey from 17 May 2009 have been announced.

The hosts will compete with Bahrain, Gibraltar, Japan, Nigeria and Suriname.

The top two sides will be promoted to Division Six and a tournament held in Singapore in August.

This is Guernsey's first time hosting a tournament at world level, which is the first step on the road to qualifying for the 2015 World Cup.
