First-class cricket could be coming to Guernsey in the next three to five years, according to the chief executive of the Sussex County Club Dave Brooks. Brooks visited the island at the start of March and said the idea was "practical within the next three to five years". Sussex's academy side will be in the island in April "with a vision to one day bring a first-class game over". Guernsey Cricket has forged strong links with the county in recent years.
