The Channel Islands have made it through to the knockout stages of the ECB's Over 50's Cricket Championships.

The islands side will travel to face Northamptonshire in the last 16 of the competition next month.

The team won four of their seven matches which was enough to earn them a promotion place from Group three of the competition.

Their eight wickets win over Dorset last week was enough to ensure them a qualifying place.
