Ireland beat Uganda by 127 runs in their second match in Group A of the ICC Trophy at Comber on Saturday. The Irish set a target of 231-8 with Andrew White top scoring on 45, Ed Joyce hitting 40 and Eoin Morgan 39. Kenneth Kamyuka took 4 for 42.
In reply Uganda were all out for 104 in 32 overs.
Frank Nsubuga contributed 59 runs while man-of-the-match Paul Mooney and Adrian McCoubrey both took three wickets and Trent Johnston two.
Mooney finished with bowling figures of 3-10 and McCoubrey returned 3-19.
Elsewhere in the group Denmark registered their second win of the campaign with a 96-run win over the United States of America.
The Danes batted first and scored 273-7 with Frederik Klokker hitting an impressive 138. The USA were all out for 177.
Bermuda overcame the disappointment of losing to Ireland by beating the United Arab Emirates by 30 runs.
The Bermudians scored 217-9 and their opponents were 187 all out in 45.5 overs.
