Andrew White hit a six in the last over as Ireland beat Canada by four wickets to reach the ICC Trophy final. The Irish will play Scotland in the decider on Wednesday after they beat Bermuda by six wickets.
The Irish had been set a victory target of 239 at Clontarf and for while looked to be struggling as they were on 171 for six after 40 overs.
But Strabane's Peter Gillespie rose to the challenge, finishing not out on 64 to win the man of the match award.
Trent Johnson and skipper Jason Molins both scored 44 while Sanjayan Thuraisingam and skipper John Davison each claimed three wickets.
Earlier Canada had reached 114-1 before the wickets started to tumble and they finished on 238-9.
Andre Botha took four wickets, Trent Johnson claimed a double while Kyle McCallan and Gordon Cooke got one each.
Ireland captain Jason Molins said it was "a big victory" for his team and it was "great to be in the final".
"From a personal perspective it was good to get some runs.
"All of our top order have struggled in the tournament. It was a little better today but there is still more to come."
Gillespie added: "When Ed Joyce left on Thursday he said that we'd better win this game today as he fancied coming back for the final. I think it's good to show we can win a match without him.
"He was very important to us in the group games but a lot of us did not perform to our best in those games and it was good for some of the other lads to come good today."
At Milverton, Bermuda were in early trouble, losing their first three wickets for 26.
But an unbeaten 53 from Dean Minors and 45 from number nine Lionel Cann helped them to 219 for nine off their 50 overs.
The Scots were staring down the barrel at 52 for three, but Cedric English, who finished unbeaten on 75, and former England all-rounder Gavin Hamilton, put on 145 for the fourth wicket to rescue their side.
Hamilton fell for 59 with 22 needed, but Dougie Brown settled Scottish nerves with a quick-fire 17.
Elsewhere, Holland and United Arab Emirates will play-off for fifth place - and a the final 2007 World Cup qualifying spot - at Clontarf on Monday after beating Denmark and Namibia respectively.
