The Isle of Man's badminton players have all been knocked out of the singles and doubles competitions at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Cristen Callow was the only Manx player to progress in the singles after beating Barbados's Latoya Watson. Callow was beaten in the last 16 by Singapore's number seven seed Tian Fu. After winning all three of his singles matches in the team event Josh Green was disappointed to lose his opening game to Nigeria's Joseph Abah. Matt Wilkinson and Kim Clague were also knocked out in the first round. Meanwhile, in the mixed doubles Green and Callow made it to the last 16 after a 21-16 21-8 victory over Michael Brown and Laura Minto of the Falkland Islands. They were beaten in the last 16 by Northern Ireland's Matthew Gleave and Sinead Chambers in three sets. Wilkinson and Clague lost their first round match to the Mauritius pairing of Abdool Edoo and Marie Louison in three sets. In the men's doubles Green and Wilkinson won their opening match against the Ghana pairing of Daniel Sam and Solomon Nyarko. The Manx pair were then knocked out by a strong Singapore pairing. Callow and Clague were knocked out in the first round of the women's doubles by a pair from Sri Lanka.
