The Isle of Man's badminton team lost their final round-robin match 4-1 to Australia at the Siri Fort Sports Complex in Delhi on Tuesday.

Josh Green won the island's only game, beating Australia's Jeff Tho in three sets to make it three wins out of four singles for the Manx number one.

The 18-year-old's only defeat coming to the men's number one seed Chong Wei Lee from Malaysia.

The Manx team finished bottom of their group after four defeats.

The Manx players will now look towards the individual and doubles competitions later in the programme.

Matt Wilkinson said: "The team event has settled us all in. We have become accustomed to the hall and the whole environment.

"We've played some great games and that can only help us in the rest of the tournament."

The Manx team have avoided the seeded players in all eight of their upcoming individual and doubles matches.
