Gammer says he is at the top of the British heavyweight tree |
British heavyweight champion Scott Gammer plans a second defence of his title in December before a long-awaited Danny Williams showdown in February. "Nothing's nailed down yet, but it looks like it could be Williams on a Friday in February, maybe 9 February," said Gammer's promoter Paul Boyce.
"But we might be able to get a fight for Scott in between."
Unbeaten Pembroke Dock-man Gammer, 29, beat Micky Steeds on points in Port Talbot earlier this month.
That win, the first defence of his British belt, took his record to 17-0-1 (9 KOs) since turning professional in 2002.
The Welshman had a prediction for the 9 December showdown between the two other leading British heavyweights, Matt Skelton and Audley Harrison.
"I just don't see Harrison being able to cope with a fighter in the way of Skelton, Matt should win that one," said Gammer.
