Ivanisevic ready to return
Goran Ivanisevic
Ivanisevic has been plagued by injuries
Goran Ivanisevic is set to make his comeback from injury in the Masters Series event at Indian Wells next week.

Ivanisevic has not played since he damaged knee ligaments in the first round of the Dubai Open last month.

"I've been training for two days. It's not bad although I still wear a knee protector," Ivanisevic told Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti.

"My elbow still hurts, but I will play at Indian Wells."

The 2001 Wimbledon champion had shoulder surgery last May which left a legacy of related problems and kept him out for nine months.

He was forced to retire during his second match at a Challenger tournament in Germany in January before suffering his latest setback in Dubai.
