Point to Prove: Luke Dorn
Luke Dorn

Luke Dorn (Harlequins)

Back at his old stomping ground of the Stoop after spells at Salford and Castleford, Dorn will be hoping to replicate the good form he showed first time around in London.

He first signed from the Sydney Roosters in 2005, scoring 23 tries in his 28 appearances in his first season and then another 18 tries the following season before being off-loaded.

The utility back managed another 19 tries last season for the Tigers and is now again reunited with coach Brian McDermott after the retirement of stand-off Scott Hill.

The departure of Hill, Henry Paul, Rikki Sheriffe and Michael Worrincy will mean Dorn's experience will be even more important for Quins as they continue to bring through young British talent.

At the club's pre-season launch, McDermott was talking boldly of winning the Challenge Cup and the Super League and Dorn's try scoring will be important if they are to have any thoughts of even reaching the play-offs.
