Geraint Thomas, 22, from Cardiff Still only 22 years old, Thomas is already a double world and Olympic champion in the team pursuit on the track. In 2007 he became the first Welshman to complete the Tour de France in 40 years - and the youngest rider in the race that year - and in June this year he completed the Giro d'Italia.
