Initially inspired by his grandfather playing in a local league, Drinkhall (left) is Europe's top junior and is the tournament's hot favourite, despite having a bad case of flu. Knight (far left) learned his tricks in a shed and the national U-21 champion is gunning to beat his doubles partner. It is a nervous start in front of hundreds of fans, but Drinkhall takes the first three sets. It is first to four sets and the pressure is on Knight. He bounces back to take the fourth, but Middlesbrough's finest has none of it and strolls to a 4-1 victory.
