Irish impact in the Ryder Cup
Darren Clarke sinks a pint of Guinness and kisses the trophy
Harrington, Clarke and McGinley all played in the record 18-9 win at Oakland Hills in 2004.

But Clarke's world fell apart in August 2006 when his wife Heather lost her long battle with cancer.

The Ulsterman agreed to play in the Ryder Cup six weeks later as a wildcard selection and won three from three as Europe triumphed by the same score again.

He broke down in tears following his final win and after an emotional week, the 38-year-old had earned the odd pint of Guinness and a spell with the trophy.
