Batt signed from non-league outfit Fisher Athletic in July
Peterborough United midfielder Shaun Batt has said he is focused on getting a run of starts in the Posh first team.
The 22-year-old has made just eight League One starts this season.
Batt told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm not looking to just be someone who comes on for 20 minutes at the end of every game.
"I'm working hard in training to try and impress and giving my all because I want a good run in the team and I want to help us gain promotion."
Batt made his first start since 13 December at Brighton on Tuesday night and he is hoping he has done enough to stay in the side.

Boss Darren Ferguson has used the former Fisher man mainly as a 'super-sub' so far this season, and Batt knows he can make a real impact coming on late in matches.
"Defenders probably don't think that someone so tall and gangly can run as quick as me, so it does shock," he said.
"Most full-backs are average height and I do have an advantage against most of them in the air."
Ferguson has a couple of selection dilemmas ahead of the weekend.
On-loan James Chester looks set to continue in defence in place of the injured Craig Morgan, but fellow new boys Lee Frecklington and Ben Wright will hope to play a part.
Frecklington may come into the side in place of either Dean Keates or Paul Coutts in central midfield.
Ferguson used a 4-3-3 formation at Brighton on Tuesday with George Boyd and Craig Mackail-Smith out wide, but will probably return to a 4-4-2 for Yeovil.
Posh claimed a 1-0 win over the Glovers at Huish Park back in the autumn, and Batt has said they know just what to expect from the League One strugglers.
"We are used now to teams coming to London Road, defending more than attacking and staying quite tight," he said.
"It's up to us as a team to break them down and get that goal."
Meanwhile, defender Shane Blackett is set to return to reserves action after recovering from a dislocated shoulder.
