Beesley has joined Telford on-loan until the end of the season
AFC Telford United have kept their dreams of reaching the play-offs alive after Danny Carey-Bertram's late goal against Eastwood secured a draw.
The visitors scored in the 90th minute through Lindon Meikle, but just seconds later Carey-Bertram latched onto Andy Brown's header to score in injury time.
We've kept ourselves alive, manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Telford gave Mark Beesley his debut after joining on-loan until the end of the season from Cambridge United.
The 28-year-old striker was singled out for praise by Smith. "I think he gave us that extra dimension. I thought he played well," he said.
Ironically, Beesley's start kept Bertram out of the side, but it was the substitute who came to Telford's rescue.
"I'm pleased with Danny because he's had a tough year, but that's what he's here for," added Smith. "Results have gone our way again so we're still well and truly in there fighting."
The Bucks are fifth in the Blue Square North, one point ahead of Droylsden who have two games in hand.
