Nigeria's Bayelsa staged a surprising 1-0 win over Mali's Stade Malien to qualify for the last four of the Confederation Cup.
Emmanuel Nwachi scored the goal that served up Stade Malien's only loss of the group stage.
Stade Malien top the group with nine points ahead of Bayelsa by virtue of having scored more away goals in their head-to-head matches.
Both teams make it through to the semi-finals.
In the other group game, Egypt's Haras El Hadood thrashed Angola's Primeiro de Agosto 5-1.
Ahmed Salama scored a brace for Haras, while Ahmed Abdul-Ghani, Mohamed Halim and Ahmed Salem all got on the scoresheet.
But the Egyptians still finished bottom of the group with seven points.
In Group A, Egypt's Enppi shocked Entente Setif of Algeria with a 3-1 defeat that takes them to the semi-finals of the Confederation Cup.
Group A was tightly contested with all four teams finishing on nine points and the top two being decided on goal difference.
Ahmed Arouf opened the scoring for Enppi after 19 minutes from close range.
Zeka Goore doubled Enppi's advantage with eight minutes before half-time.
Enppi's third goal was a scrappy affair with Alaa Issa scoring after pouncing on the ball in a goal-mouth scramble.
Two minutes later, Hocine Metraf scored for Entente Setif from a free kick.
Entente stay top of Group A on goal difference, while Enppi leap from fourth to second and both teams will contest the semi-finals.
In the group's other game, Santos FC of Angola beat AS Vita Club of DR Congo 1-0.
Manucho Barros ended his barren spell to score after eight minutes, but it wasn't enough to stake a place in the last four.
So Entente Setif will face Bayelsa in the semi-finals, while Stade Malien take on Enppi.
