DR Congo's Vita Club moved to second place in Group A of the Confederation Cup after their 3-0 thrashing of Egyptian side Ennpi on Sunday.
The home side broke the deadlock on nine minutes when defender Elonga found space on the right to rifle home.
Mbaya Malangje doubled Vita's lead in the 27th minute with a strike from the edge of the box.
They sealed the comprehensive victory in injury time through striker Eric Bokanga.
The win took Vita level on six points with Angola's Santos but the Congolese have a better goals difference.
Algeria's Entente Setif thrashed Santos 6-0 on Friday in Setif to cement their place at the top of the group.
Feham Bouazza put the home side in the lead in the 34th from the spot before Hocine Metref's strike doubled their advantage just before the break.
A brace from Ziaya Abdelmalek and further strikes by Seguer Mohamed and Bencharif Sofiane sealed the comprehensive win.
The win took Setif to nine points after four matches.
Meanwhile, Stade Malien moved to the top of Group with a 2-0 win over Haras El Hadood of Egypt in Bamako on Sunday.
In the other game in the group Angola side Premeiro Agosto easily beat visiting Bayelsa United of Nigeria 3-1 on Saturday.
Stade top the table with eight points, one ahead of Primeiro, Haras are third with four points while Bayelsa are bottom a further point behind.
