Paceman Simon Jones took 10 wickets in the match as England A achieved the first victory of their Indian tour.
They beat a Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI by 187 runs in Madras after bowling them out for 143.
Jones claimed five wickets for three runs after lunch to finish with 5-31 and overall match figures of 10-88.
Somerset's Simon Francis had earlier dismissed both openers after England A declared their second innings on 295-9, a lead of 330.
Tamil Nadu went into lunch on 90-3, with Welshman Jones having struggled to find the right line in his initial five-over spell, which cost 28 runs.
But he proved too much for the home side following the resumption, bringing the game to a swift and sudden end to boost his chances of joining the senior England squad in the West Indies next month.
