Despite having her lottery funding taken away Jade Johnson seems to be back on form again, while Greg Rutherford will hope his injuries don't overshadow his huge potential. Edwards says on:

"He was very disappointing in Beijing. He has still got a lot of work to do with his technique but he's got great speed and could be right in the mix. "Apart from Panama's Olympic champion Irving Saladino, the long jump event is quite open and he's capable of 8.20-40m. It's time to make the next step up but he is a very exciting jumper."
