Age 23, Sprinter Londoner Douglas smashed Kathy Cook's old British 100m record last summer but failed to get beyond the second round at last year's Olympics. Campbell says: "Breaking the British 100m record in 11.05 seconds was a fine achievement last year, not to mention the wind-assisted 10.95. If she can continue this momentum she'll have a great season. "She will have been disappointed with her early Olympics exit but it's good to be out there performing at the highest level and to help know what it takes to take on the world. "Consistency is key. She needs to aim for 11.15 regularly so she can go to major championships with this experience more confidently." The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites |
