Southend United had their goalkeeper Joe Duncan to thank for claiming a point after 1-1 draw against Woking at Kingfield Stadium.
Duncan denied Liam Dulson an equaliser in the opening period then tipped Jake Forster-Caskey's 88th minute free-kick over the bar as the hosts pressed for the win.
Harry Cardwell's 38th minute penalty had put the Shrimpers in front and he would have added a second but for a fine stop from Woking keeper Will Jaaskelainen on the stroke of half time.
Woking grabbed their equaliser on the hour-mark when Aiden O'Brien prodded home at the third attempt after Duncan had saved from Dulson and Syla.
