Yeovil won when they last played at home at Huish Park in the league
Yeovil Town's National League match against Aldershot Town has been postponed after heavy rain made the pitch unplayable.
The game was due to kick off at 19:45 GMT at Huish Park but was called off following a pitch inspection, following a two-hour downpour on Tuesday afternoon.
"The pitch had held up well earlier in the week, with 25mm of rain over the weekend and another 17mm since Tuesday morning," a Yeovil statement said.
"While heavy rain was forecast, the pitch was expected to cope. However, a sudden downpour of 8mm in just two hours, combined with a shift in wind direction, meant the pitch could no longer handle the rainfall."
Statements from both clubs said a new date for the fixture would be announced in due course.
Yeovil are currently 15th in the table, two places and five points ahead of Aldershot.
