James Daly's goal was his first of the season for Yeovil Town
Yeovil ended their three-match National League winless run by beating relegation-battlers Braintree 3-1 at Huish Park.
The Glovers thought they had broken the deadlock in the 25th minute through Kyle Ferguson's header, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Yeovil eventually went ahead just after the hour when Luke McCormick tucked home a rebound and James Daly then swiftly nodded in a second following Mason Terry's initial save in the 65th minute.
Lewis Walker's fierce shot pulled a goal back for Braintree with 20 minutes left, but Brett McGavin made sure of the points when his late free-kick was deflected past Terry.
