Taylor Richards' dramatic 89th-minute winner earned Crawley their first away victory since September with success at fellow League Two strugglers Barrow.

Richards' sucker-punch means Barrow have lost their past three games and sit just four points above the relegation zone, two ahead of Crawley.

Bluebirds goalkeeper Wyll Stanway pulled off a great early stop to deny Louie Copley's powerful header.

Jay Williams and Harry McKirdy both failed to hit the target as they squandered chances for the visitors.

Isaac Fletcher forced Jacob Chapman into a great save on the stroke of half-time.

After the interval, Fletcher — who had scored in his past three games — had an effort chalked off for offside.

Fletcher then squandered a number of opportunities in the second half as the hosts continued to struggle in front of goal.

Danilo Orsi came close to scoring his first Crawley goal since returning to the club this month when his effort hit the inside of a post while Barrow's Charlie Raglan had a header cleared off the line in the final 10 minutes.

But the game was settled when Richards unleashed a fine strike into the bottom corner to secure Crawley's first win in 12 league outings.
