I have just been on the Weston Wheels website and unfortunately, it's been cancelled for 2006 and will no longer be happenin anymore!!! I went to the 2005 and loved every minute of it and even planned dancin as one of the promoting dancers however that is now not an option.

Went to the 2005 show. Was badly organised and the marshalls hadn't a clue - from a clubstand member's view. The stands were poor, and couldnt see burnouts for the crowds. Pathetic for what I was expecting. Only good thing was the atmosphere on the club stand, and the camping!

i just want to say sorry to the people who didnt make it in with the rest of our club and ended up going back home after queing for hours. seven of us made it on to the clubstand just after 4.30 pm . i hope they catch the a-holes that ruined it.

I am just upset that I can not bring my two shelby's to the show. I have a droped, and stooped 1966 Shelby Mustang GT 350. Plus for only you true car guys, I have a 1986 Shelby GLHS that has only been upgraded by me under the hood. Only you real guys will know about this car. Only 500 were made and they were made to make money from people who no nothing about cars. This ugly hatchback of mine blows the doors off my stang with a 12.7 QT.

Mine's at 130bhp and can do a standing quarter in 15.4 seconds.
Have been known to be modified to 250bhp, truly the fastest things on the road, same power as an Aston Martin with a 1000bhp engine. No such thing. =) Really looking forward to it.

I know most of you are not going to like this, but I am an American who is hoping to make it out to the show. For those of you who are bashing on Modifiers let me help to set the record straight. Yes there are a lot of people who buy cheap cars who put thousands of dollars to make their car look "cool" Yeah I agree that most of these people have no driving skills and should not be allowed to call themselves Modifires. Then there are the real people. The people who put the money under the hood. And after they get the engine tight, then they spend the money to make the car look cool. Any one who bashes them doesn't no a lick about cars. You say you would rather spend your money on a real sports car? Then you are the same as the people who buy cheap cars and put in no actual wrench time. You probably can't even drive. You will never know the feeling of taking an unwanted, uncool, car and turn it into a 12 second car. To create something as opposed to just flashing your money. And anyone who doesn't think that a 1969 Dodge Charger 500 R/T is not a decent car, then y'all are fools.

I'm there again this year with my mint scooby. Camping over htis year for frist time, can't wait to see dj sy, scott brown and mark EG on saturday nite. Apparently we've got posh loos and showers too cos we're camping... plus cheaper than most shows as its only costing me £25 to camp for two nights with show entry and bargain, more shows should take a leaf out of there book!

Weston Wheels is one of the FEW shows around that caters for EVERYONE from chavs, to the serious modifier, from families throughout the day to more risque as the night draws in. Over the last few years that I have been attending the show it has constantly improved.
The organization is fantastic and the general atmosphere of the show is also fantastic.
The number of people that now attend compared to past events is overwhelming and goes to prove that the organizers have certainly done a good job.
Im definitely going back to the show for 2005 and will also be taking a group of cars to go on show at the event with around 40 members of my car club.
