Local model, Vikki Thomas will be there

Go cruising in Weston

Fancy yourself as Mr Pecs of Weston, or Miss Weston Wheels? If you're a guy wanting to show the ladies what you’re really made of, or a gal wanting to prove to the lads that you're top totty, then Weston Wheels 2004 is the place to be.

The annual modified car event is being held on Sunday 29 August 2004. Now in its fourth year, it's one of the largest national events of its kind and is a celebration of everything motoring and modifying.

Smoke that tread

TV motoring guru and Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond, will be hosting the competition finals. Locally based Page 3 stunner Vikki Thomas will be on hand to help, along with other top models.

Modified car
You can enter the Best Lit competition

If you've spent hours on your motor and reckon it's spot on, the Show 'n' Shine competition is the one for you.

There's the Best ICE (In Car Entertainment) contest if you have an ICE install like no other. There's also a burnout comp where you'll need to spin those tyres and smoke that tread to win.

Music-wise, a huge Big Top will house the main stage.

Among the line up is the final to the Weston Wheels national DJ of the Year Competition as well as some old skool DJs. Resident Skint DJ at Stars, Mi$$ Divine, will also be lining up a chilled relax set.

Burn out

Local, national and international traders will be there selling every kind of accessory you could ever want for your car.

Non-car-related activities include a funfair, mobile climbing wall, and Playstation and Xbox games.

The local charity Freewheelers will be hosting a charity head shave. They'll also be raffling off an F1 B.A.R. team shirt signed by Jenson Button, Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson.

Event organiser Tristan Bacon said: "This year promises to be the biggest and best event ever.

"We've brought together the very best cars in the country and the industry's leading companies for a huge day of modified fun and entertainment."

Weston wheels was amazing. Even my engine going bang 10 miles on the way there and me spending thousands on my car just for the event (needless to say it didnt make it there) I still had an amazing time. Cant wait for next year. Big thanks and congratulations for a great event go to Tristian and his team for putting this all together for us (just feel sorry he was sat in the cold carpark missing it all)

Libertine, Weston
I think Weston Wheels is a shocking event and absolutely hate all these boy racers invading my town. Of all the places in England, the police had to legalise speeding in MY home. Typical. Cant wait until something goes wrong and the Police has to stop it. Your all very sad individuals.

king lezza
cant wait for weston wheels to start pumping base its going to phat

Sarah Sharp
I drive all the way from Yorkshire ( 230 miles ) for this event it is fantastic. Cant Wait

Jonno Gloucester
Looking forward to yet another great day. Last year was a laugh, looks like this year is going to be better. Cant wait to see the lovely ladies from Longlife!! See you all there.

Freewheelers EVS
Hi peep's, Freewheelers will be in attendance again this year as a chosen charity, and as last year we will show that bikes and 2 wheels are better than 4. Come along and help support us.

Tracey, Wales
Went last year absolutely rammed, brilliant cars, brilliant companies, great stage and banging tunes. got some great show bargains and can't wait til this year with Richard Hammond attending, he's sooo cute.

Contagious Clubwear
We are having a massive launch party there with lots of DJ's and babes. It is a really well organised and supported event, and we are very proud to be a part of it. Look out for the Weston Wheels Girls who will be knocking the socks of all the fellas this year... See you all there.

Natasha Bitenski
Help!!!! It's me that's having my head shaved for the Freewheelers charity. To say I'm getting a little nervous is an understatement. 10 days and counting.

miss cnm
went last year and it was really good. this is one event where u dont have time to get bored will be attending with cruisers from the andover and basingstoke area. gonna be great im couting down the days!!

Andy Smith
Only a few days to go now, every modified car fanatic should come to this!... And you won't take Stu's crown, he's a god :o)...

Kayleigh Kassidy
I'm attending as a model for AB Styling (12-4) and then Infinaty Exhausts (4-12) See you all there xx

Clive Birmingham
Really top event last year, it was absolutley rammed, they had a huge music stage and arena and this year sounds even better with the big top. There will be a huge contingent going from Brum this year and I think I may be taking Stu's crown this year for Mr Pecs

Jeff Cardiff
Got to be one of the best events on the modified car calendar. We have been the last two years and have had an awesome time. Great stands, lots to do an see, plenty of car action and lots of babes. What more could you want for a bank holiday sunday.......

Martyn Dorset
Great review of the event, lets face it, its one of the very few legal options we have and in my opinion one of the best

Stu Nottingham
Excellent review, This will be my 4th year of attending now, and all of the Modofied Car ehthusiasts from Cheltenham can't wait for it!... This event has been groundbreaking in resolving the problems that the police in the area have had with local cruisers, and it's been a rollaway success ever since!... Oh, and I do fancy being Mr Pecs of Weston, in fact, I am, I won it last year!...
