Wild Diamond Surf:
The guys cater for complete beginners to intermediates and even families are welcome.
There are tubes further out for the advanced. The school is British Surfing Association approved school and Tiree also has the advantage of being the UK's sunniest place and almost midge free.
There are a variety of courses to choose from, going from taster sessions up to week long intensive programs. These are flexible to allow for weather conditions and your requirements.
'Soft' Bullet and Surftech beginner boards are used, as well as NSP mini-mals, custom short boards and warm Snugg and Alder wet suits.
As well as surf lessons, the guys hire equipment on a half-day up to a weekly basis. You can hire surfboards, bodyboards, skimboards and wet suits, as well as snorkels and masks.
Multi-Activity Weeks and Corporate Activity Weeks can be organised, including windsurfing and kitesurfing.
There's also a surfboard and windsurf board repair service on offer if you have your own equipment.
The school is usually based at Balevullin Beach from the hours of 12 to 6pm daily in the school holidays and by arrangement out with these dates. The surf school is also mobile to take advantage of the best surf breaks available according to the conditions. To find where the school will be running just give them a phone on 077930 63849 on the day or ask at the windsurfing school at the loch.
