T1 Barcode

The first thing you'll notice about the Barcode is how easy it is to pull up the front end for manuals. This is because the bike has a long top tube but a short back end which pulls the centre of gravity nearer your legs.

The tubing on the frame is quite chunky where it needs to be, which makes it strong and average in weight (6.4lbs) compared to some of the frames floating around today!

There are two gussets on the frame - one on the top tube and one on the down tube, which give the frame just the right strength it needs without adding any extra weight.

The only one problem I found with the frame, is that the dropout on the driveside sits very close to the freewheel which makes adding chain tensioners impossible [Ed: Neither Taj or Joe run chain tensioners] but I think that running only one tensioner still works, so it's not a major problem.

The Barcode is a great frame and the guys at T1 just keep making them better!!
