Oz Clarke
Oz is joined by Dr. Richard Holloway to discuss religion, wine, and the delights of a big Zinfandel. Andrew visits Catherine Hume, who is struggling to find storage space for her wine...
Week One finds Oz joined in the studio by Dr. Richard Holloway, former Bishop of Edinburgh and author of the books "Looking in the Distance" and "Godless Morality". They'll be discussing the relationship between wine and religion, from Dionysian excess to Rechabite abstinence, and Dr. Holloway will be telling Oz why he favours a "big, fruity Zinfadel".

Andrew's Cellar Story this week finds him at the home of Catherine Hume, who is struggling to find a storage solution for the wine bottles that currently live around her house, Jancis Robinson will offer a potted guide to grape varietals, while discussion round the table will offer insight into everything from screwcaps to vineyard holidays. The tasting section of the programme offers listeners a chance to submit their own tasting notes and questions via email and text - details on this week's wine can be found on the "Taste This" section of this site.

Join us as Oz and Andrew guide listeners through the world of wine and invite them to share their wine stories and oenological experiences.
