Sweeney Todd Johnny Depp talks about his role as the eponymous Sweeney Todd in this filmed version of the Sondheim stage musical directed by Tim Burton; Helena Bonham Carter on her role as Mrs Lovett - the maker of the worst pies in London - and what it was like to learn to sing for the film; and Alan Rickman, playing villain Judge Turpin, is also in his first singing role and tells us how to keep in tune whilst wearing a prosthetic neck!

In The Valley of Ellah Screenwriter of Million Dollar Baby and director of the award winning film Crash, Paul Haggis talks about his new film In The Valley of Ellah which explores the controversial subject of the impact Iraq has had on American soldiers.

Daratt Keith Shiri, Director of Africa at the Pictures, explores the latest film from Chadian film maker Mahamet-Seleh Haroun exploring the theme of truth and reconciliation following the country's long and bitter civil war. Haroun, one of only two filmmakers from Chad, is one of a group of Francophone African film makers living in Paris. His three films explore the dynamic changes taking place in Chad as it emerges from its colonial past, often referring to absent fathers and the search for a new identity.
