Russell Crowe Francine Stock talks to Australian star Russell Crowe. In 2000 he had a huge hit with Ridley Scott's Roman epic Gladiator. Six years on, he's teamed up again with the director to make an unlikely follow-up: a romantic comedy set in the vineyards of Provence. He explains why.
A Good Year (12A) is out now.
The Death of Mr Lazarescu Francine is joined by the journalist John Lloyd to discuss one of the most successful films to come out of Romania in years. The Death of Mr Lazarescu follows the plight of a man in his sixties who starts to feel ill one Saturday night and finds himself driven around Bucharest's hospitals by a sympathetic paramedic.
The Death of Mr Lazarescu (15) is out on DVD this week.
Andrea Arnold Andrea Arnold won an Oscar at last year's Academy Awards for her short film Wasp. Now she's directed her first feature film, an atmospheric tale set on a Glasgow housing estate. It's the first of three films to come from a scheme set up by Dogme founder Lars von Trier - Andrea Arnold talks to Francine about the rules she had to observe in making it.
