On The Film Programme this week:
Terry Gilliam
Chris Tookey meets the maverick director Terry Gilliam. Since making his name as a member of the Monty Python team, Gilliam has become one of the world's most imaginative and idiosyncratic film makers, with hits including Time Bandits and Twelve Monkeys. He talks about his latest movie, Tideland, and explains why his work is an attempt to regain lost innocence.
Tideland (15) is on general release.
Paul Giamatti
Chris also talks to Sideways star Paul Giamatti about his latest role in M. Night Shyamalan's supernatural thriller Lady in the Water - in which he plays a caretaker who encounters a water nymph in his swimming pool.
Lady in the Water (PG) is on general release.
