Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Critic Howard Schuman celebrates the musical Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, which is being released on a special edition DVD. In Stanley Donen's 1954 film Howard Keel plays the eldest of seven brothers from the backwoods of Oregon who venture into town to find themselves wives.

The Jacket
Francine Stock discusses the new thriller The Jacket, with the film's director John Maybury. Adrien Brody, the Oscar winning actor from The Pianist, plays Jim Starks a soldier gravely injured in the first Iraq campaign in 1991. Back home in Vermont Starks is institutionalised in a mental hospital after being involved in a crime he is unable to remember.
