The Shawshank Redemption
Director Frank Darabont joins The Film Programme to discuss his cult classic The Shawshank Redemption, which is being released as a special edition DVD to mark its 10th anniversary. The film tells the story of lifers Andy and Red, played by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, who find friendship inside the penitentiary.

Screen legend Maureen O'Hara's reflects on her career as her memoirs are published. O'Hara's big break came in 1937 when she was cast in Alfred Hitchcock's Jamaica Inn, she went on to spar and battle with John Wayne in a series of movies including The Quiet Man and Rio Grande, swashbuckle with Errol Flynn as a pirate queen and play comedy opposite James Stewart and Henry Fonda.
