Paul Welburn
The former Rhodes in the Square chef who's about to open his own restaurant.
Originally from Scarborough, Paul worked at the award-winning Star Inn before moving to Rhodes in the Square under head chef Michael James and Gary Rhodes.
Paul then worked at Rhodes W1 which gained a Michelin star within a year of opening in January 2008. During his career, Paul has also cooked with chefs including Brian Hughson and Richard Corrigan.
He currently works for Searcy’s with whom he will soon open his very own restaurant.
Paul has a personal connection to the brief as his grandfather served in World War Two.
