Originally from Kent, Josh began his culinary career in local kitchens before gaining experience in Michelin-recognised establishments, including the Fordwich Arms. He later became Head Chef at the Bridge Arms in Canterbury, where the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star - further cementing his fine-dining credentials.
Josh joined Hide and Fox in 2023 under Chef Patron Allister Barsby, quickly establishing himself as a key part of the kitchen team and embraced using the best of local produce to create seasonal tasting menus.
In 2025, Josh became a semi-finalist in the National Chef of the Year competition, placing him among the top 40 chefs nationwide.
