Azra and Akram’s son Khalil took to village life like the proverbial duck to water. An instinctive lover of the outdoors and nature, he would be utterly content dividing his time between tending the llama at Ambridge Hall and helping his friend Henry Archer with his goats. Academia scores very low on Khalil’s list of life goals.
Taking a philosophical but healthily cautious approach to a childhood illness, Khalil grabs life with both hands. His enthusiasm for cricket, stargazing, cooking and animal welfare has impressed several Ambridge residents, notably Lynda Snell, who finds his care for animals refreshing and believes that contrary to his own perception, Khalil is very bright.
Whilst Khalil’s mum Azra might roll her eyes at her son’s occasionally unorthodox approach to life, she is nevertheless proud of his unconventional attitude and ability to think outside the box.
