Essaouira

In week five, the remaining adventurers headed 230 miles south west of Bin el Ouidane to the port city of Essaouira, which means 'well-designed' in Arabic.

Essaouira is famous for its sardines, which are in turn one of Morocco’s most well-known exports; an enormous 600 kilos of sardines were used in the Team Task, all of which were distributed among the local fishermen after filming, (except for the fish eaten by the local seagulls).
